1) If the GOLAN Heights are recognized as part of Israel,

2) where representatives of Genie Oil have said there's a large strata of oil,

3) and as Delek and Zion Oil are positioned to explore and produce within the State of Israel,

4) and the coming peace plan gives a portion (just recently heard 85%) of the 'west bank' to the Palestinian Authority, ZN's 99,000 acre lease area may be seen as having increased value, due to being within the sovereign State of Israel.

If ZN identifies high probability zones by 3D Seismic within it's lease area, or just the area around MJ#1, the value of the area under lease or portions of the lease area may see a perceived an increase in value.

That Delek just had a capital influx, and is drilling in the State of Israel helps Zion Oil right now.

We'll see if anything comes of it.

The exploration for oil and natural gas on sovereign Israel terra firma, may add additional perceived value because the territory has never been contested.


Finally, can anyone provide more information on Delek? Evidently they're a much bigger outfit than I was aware of.

I had only associated with their work in Israel.

We seem to be witnessing a possibility of entering a new phase here with these close proximity parallel efforts as well as the changing political focus. If ZN can get through the next few months cash wise the opportunity seems to be there, and possibly growing from here forward.

Dividing Israel's Capitol City will enter into this. After April 9, we'll know more on this topic, hopefully enough to make sound decisions.

I've only heard varying scuttlebutt thus far with both ends of the equation discussed and little of the middle ground mentioned.
