A lot of people that cannot tolerate statins may be Vit D deficient. Statins are contraindicated with Low D

I started Crestor 10 and had pains so I stopped. Yrs ago My md told me to take D which I did not. So I read up and took 10,000IU daily for 2 weeks, then restarted Crestor and have not had pains,,
