Same here, doing your own back up is easy enough. I sometimes go to bookmarks=>Show All Bookmarks and save them both in html and a bookmarks-2019-03-20.json file. Just in case. The passwords I would do screen grabs, and save as pdfs or jpg. But it's easier to sync. One computer I only login to sync if needed, and then log out to keep it frozen, just in case there's a problem.
