I must say, the move to WIN10 was nothing. Learning curve so far has been pretty benign. (I hung on to WIN7 for as long as I possibly could for the same reasons as you) My new laptop is a "touch" version, although I use that capability rarely- (can't seem to give up my mouse- you know- old dog/new tricks 
), it's still handy at times and you need WIN10 to make it work. I think you'll do fine.
