Actually this story has been around for the past year, but as for anyone doing something about it you will have to ask Trump, he said he would address this issue a year ago, but so far he has not done anything.

President Obama did put out a warning on Nigeria, and even briefed Trump when he came into office.

Maybe you remember the four American servicemen that were ambushed in Nigeria, Trump was going to investigate that tragedy but to this date nothing has come of that investigation.

Trump is the President, and has been for two years, he has had many incidents in Nigeria but so far Trump has not addressed the issue.
