Kelly, MD, is a gastroenterologist and assistant professor in the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University

Kelly isn’t sure why the woman gained weight, but animal studies have suggested that gut bacteria may play an important role in how the body processes and stores calories.

That’s one reason that the folks at OpenBiome -- the place that’s making those new FDA-approved, capsules of freeze-dried stool -- are extremely picky about their poop. Donors must pass a rigorous screening process. Only 3% of applicants are accepted, says James Burgess, the company’s executive director and co-founder.

I'd say screening down to 3% suggests a better understanding then Kelly who has no idea whats going on.

Burgess says they exclude candidates at different stages of the screening process. Often it’s because a potential donor harbors a germ in their stool they didn’t even know they had.

I'd totally game the system and get OpenBiome to "exclude me" for free accurate diagnosis before I go talk to Kelly.

And University of Utah emerges as what looks to be a power house of education from the ashes of civilization. Simply because it was over looked. Similar to the collapse of Rome while Byzantine (eastern roman empire) continued.

Seems like education has become less merit based. Degrees become tools to speak Officiously, society stagnates and we have entered a technological dark age.
