I can nay say modern medicine from experience and observation. Once I began to understand my oldest daughter I began to understand how modern medicine has made us all sicker. Ive learned some things about how to counter the mistakes but its not enough. Not until I can figure out how to restore balance in the gut.

I suspect that a return to local farming can aid this by exposing the body to more microbes that exist in the soil. This theory is based on observation of mine and my wifes families as both moved away from farm dependence. As both family lines depended more on store bought goods, decline in the gut increases. This of course goes hand and hand with increased use of antibiotics. Can decreased use of antibiotics, particularly as infants and young children coupled with a return to local fresh foods restore gut balance? I dont know, but it'll likely take generations to fully recover from "modern medicine's" damage.
