GSPE stayed above a buck for quite a while and even went to $2 breifly just based on oil market sentiment and a great team / plan. :)

Yes, but they also had a very limited free float. What caused the share price to tank was that shares from the initial PP at 12c came free for trading. Then they made another PP at 22c in the middle of that steep decline. Funny that we trade at 50% of the initial placement by now, even if we are diluted since then.
