And, in my view yours is a very clear headed take on Mr. Li's overriding strategy. At the same time he has made some public statements that contradict the notion that he paid only for the IP.

With respect to everyones opinions on the matter I continue to maintain that your description of his motives are but one facet of his strategy. I sense that he also clearly delegated responsibility to grow LQMT here in the USA to Bromage and the rest of the LF crowd. During the interim period they have failed miserably.

The timetable for Brucie and the crowd is clear ... they have until the initial $64M runs out. The issue is if or not they want to/are capable of doing that job. If they succeed Li and we win with a higher share price. If they fail Li still wins when he scoops up shares at $.02c each and takes the company private. If some other entity attempts a buy out he also wins.

It seems to me (non-business person that I am mind you) that assured wins such as these is the business Li (most probably one of his delegates or Steipp himself) agreed to probably 5 or 6 years ago. To date, the LF crowd have been sending some pretty loud messages .... "WE CAN'T SELL THE MATERIAL". To be kinda fair, they are probably trying but are way over their heads.
