OK, I see the Omega extension of 12 months and the competitive follow on effort procurement as two separate events. We know about the 12 month extension and now its time to find out about the other competitive procurement...meaning i don't think we will find out about the winner of the competitive procurement months from now...I think it is days away.

1: NAWC-AD intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost contract modification to Omega Aerial Refueling Services, Inc. (OARS) for an additional 12 month ordering period from 3/26/2019 to 3/25/2020. (this just happened yesterday)

2: Please be advised that a competitive follow-on effort procurement is ongoing with a planned award in March 2019 (this is what we're waiting to hear about this month)
