I don't disagree about anything you say there.

Trading short-term is about recognizing opportunities that have little to do with where the market longer-term is headed.

I know you don't care for NN but he trades just as you suggest on daily price movement. Often he traps price and doesn't care which direction it moves. He takes quick profits. He day trades most of the time.

That aside I'm not trying to defend him.

I am not trading in any short term way at this time. Way too much going on for me to do that.

So for me I still pay attention to the Market and try to gauge longer term direction. If that upsets you I'm sorry.

I don't focus on targets really, but I do pay attention to the likelihood we are headed strongly in any one direction.

I will be curious how happy you are with the Specialized Bike, I am not ready to invest in a bike to ride something like the CDR at this time but in time I will.
