somebody could calculate the mileage from givots recent oil discovery near elad to zn's lease-cant be all that far in tiny israel-w givots discovery in north central and zn in southern part of N israel

the offshore oil leases are expensive bc of the huge gas and some oil fields already found there

onshore leases are less expensive bc so far no large oil fields have been discovered; and thats partly bc of geopolitical considerations-oil co's not wanting to offend the saudis for decades

zn did say the oil they found in small noncommercial quantities was light oil -not kerogen

dont remember off the bat what size of olams new oil field is-read about it couple days ago
