10k is not due for 90 days after dec 31 -so not due til mar 31-so yes was quite early -just like last years mar 12 10k
10k says they have enough for operations through may 31 and then they noted 1.7 million plus raised this year -as subsequent event -though they didnt limit their language to the subsequent event section
as tisdal notes they will have at least another fundraise before the 3d is finished
dec is a bad time for fundraising-everybody -all the non-profits are incessantly fundraising in december-and in the usa ppl are reserving funds for xmas and then in january -its "omg we are broke we shouldnt have spent so much for xmas"-and in late december many stocks were their nadir -esp dec 26 bc of aggressive fed policies to slow the economy-the fed has since backed off,allowing the market to recover
u notice the retail stores are usually very slow in january- so they did not raise the entire 10m needed for the entire 3d program
as i watched this over many years i sometimes got tired of all the fundraises also-but thats what happens w a wildcatter-
they arent drilling in tx where there are hundreds of nearby offset wells
nor in long beach where wells are in ppls tiny yards and the air is so thick w oil u can hardly breathe
john brown is 80 or 81-i've never seen such a witness in a business setting before as i saw at the june 5 stockholder meeting video last year-such has to be eventually rewarded as per quotes from PR's and john brown missives from the most popular book
they continue to improve their scientific geophysics studies and by the process of elimination have to be getting closer if there is commerical oil in northern israel,as events and maps etc posted indicate-and as a recent discovery by givot olam indicates
a specific word i heard re zn was 'water before oil'- most zn retail investors understand the significance of that-zn finally found a reservoir system w cap rock and high temps and pressures and some oil but not commercial- overladen with 2 layers of saltwater and 2 higher layers of freshwater
so they've finally found water -and yes it sounds funny[in a different way to those who dont understand] but the real world often mirrors the world most zn retail investors are familiar with
geopolitics are involved also -the timing-frankly it would not be best for zn to discover significant commerical oil in the 8 years before 2016[usa elections]or when isis was in control of much of syria or iraq
or when saudis or russians were openly hostile towards israel
so the timing now gives them some breathing room in the years before russia and turkey etc pounce
