NuFone, Inc. Selects The VoIP Connection™ and GlobeTelX® to Provide Residential CPE Devices for its IAX-based VoIP service.

Indian Harbour Beach, FL, (October 26, 2006) - The VoIP Connection™, an industry leading distributor of Voice Over IP equipment and technology, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to provide NuFone Inc. with IAX protocol VoIP CPE devices from GlobeTelX. The program includes device programming, shipping and complete lifecycle support of the CPE. IAX is the Inter-Asterisk eXchange protocol used by Asterisk®, the open source telephony platform from Digium®. It is used to enable VoIP traffic between Asterisk servers, and between servers and clients that also use the IAX protocol.
