sgolds, HPQ is waiting on Microsoft, that is all.

This doesn't make sense to me. Why November (Microsoft AMD64 still not ready) instead of Tuesday? Besides, they are installing the 32-bit version in November, which is available now.

And per your own earlier post, it would be in Intel's interest to convince HP not to use ANY AMD products.

The question is only about the means, and to what lengths they go in attempting to wield their considerable influence.
