If this is simply another way to get a customer "into" a system or convert someone from a potential customer to a customer/user, then this is a nice addition to their sales tools.

I like that this was announced now rather than closer to the Q4 report or as part of the Q4 report or even a few days after the report.

What scares me now is 2 things. First is I fear that Ferris will use this "conversion" as an excuse for any sort of near term revenue issue. Second is that even with this program in place he will still not provide forward guidance.

The reaction by VTSI stock today is telling. Absolutely no one cares and no one believes this is a big deal either way. Of all the posters here, no one has bought any shares other than a very small number.

And will the 3 independent directors now step up to the plate and buy shares 2 days after the Q4 release when the window opens? No, they will not. Why? Because they do not believe it is a good investment.

I bought shares 3 of the last 4 trading days and will continue buying this week. I believe the trailing performance of the company makes it a buy and I believe the forward potential makes it a strong buy. I also believe the current CEO is not the person capable of getting the company to perform up to its potential. He is an average CEO in my opinion.
