The answer is the patent is probably costing them more than it is worth or as much as it is worth. It is useful tool for scamming the investment community to raise cash, so the value is there if nothing else.
As patents go I doubt they could sell for much, not even 1 Million dollars, look at EcoSphere Technologies/Systems that has died on Pink sheets after trying to tangle with Halliburton 4 years ago over multiple patent protection that has been for sale now for 2 years with no bidders.
The Founder of Fidelity Investments owns half of the sister company that bought millions of dollars of their units for rentals back in 2012-2013 before the Nat gas and oil bust round xxx hit in 2014, their target market was fracking water recycling/treatment. Last I heard they tried revive the dead hulk with a wacky weed or Algae application or some such nonsense story.
But Cook made a fortune using the trade secret rout to protect the formula, so using both together is a smart move, If they have anything real to protect.
Until we see repeat revenue
Reliable production cost data (all the costs)
Actual gross margin that can pay for expansion
This is still just a "4 Loop" recycled dream.
Any way you look at it, big money will try and take them out, steal it, get around the patent and duplicate it, if they even have done what they claim to have done. Protecting it will cost a fortune!!! And so far all I see is a toxic financial situation with too many shares issued and no money, that will need massive funding now to move forward???? That is already way over priced.
If they have something real, I would watch for a hair cut financing deal that raises say 20 million dollars at maybe .20/share to be announced soon, that will crush current stuck holders. Seen it too many times.
