“Someday soon , a fine animal in need of a big break in life is going to find a wonderful home.”

To all going through the loss of your beloved companion animals, please remember and take comfort in the wonderful life you gave them. Somewhere I read: “ Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”

I have volunteered my time at “Orphans of the Storm” in the Chicago area for many years. There are many such organizations that exist to help these animals find homes. There are younger dogs and many older dogs as well needing to find you. I gently urge everyone, in time, to adopt again and improve the lives of these wonderful creatures.

The extent of one’s grief following a loss is a measure of the amount of love that was shared.
