( FYI - Moab, Utah is the druggie capital of that part of Utah ( teens and young adults ),
so be aware when you walk anywhere in Moab that is located
off Main Street, which is muggers paradise - druggies looking for tourists who are not alert )
I recommend the Aarchway Inn, on the far north of the Moab townsite, just south of the Colorado River ... and the Inn is bordered on the
western boundary by a protected wildlife reserve with no buildings looking west from the Inn's back yard --- and do NOT go into the town of Moab at any time, day or night. You may be lucky and not be bothered by the teen and young adult locals who are addicts, it is a roll of the dice )

Forest Service campground spot just below the Trail Head at Ken's Lake -- few hookups to electricity exist at this location
