I wanted to share with this board something I came across last week while I was in Tel Aviv on a business trip...
While I was visiting one of the top IP firms in Israel, once we concluded our business I was able to sit down with one of the senior people in the firm and proceeded to tell him the story of UOIP up to the present time.
I wished I could have taken a picture of his face when I told him this David and Goliath story.
What he said to me was that the fact we have been victorious in the PTAB on 6 of 7 patents and are appealing the 7th...his comment was that we have an extremely strong case even without the win on the 7th...
He said winning the appeal would deliver the death blow.
This firm handles all manner of IP and have been the PTAB route for many of Israel's biggest tech firms...
So I was pretty happy to hear this...not that this isn't already what many of us have surmised...but to hear this from one of the top IP firms in Israel is comforting.
The only question that remains is the whole story around what Billy holds and what we hold...all common shares... this case is a precedent setting case..and there are still many unknowns at this point...
