A Johnny Tarr toast and a positive thought.
You know, Johnny Tarr's last post got me thinking - there are positive things that I could say about VEND, but I have dwelled on the negatives.
So, here's to you, Johnny Tarr! I don't want you to die of thirst for alcoholic beverages or positive posts. Here's my first positive thought.
The company announced that it had booked 31 new franchise commitments for $1.3 million in revenue during the month of January, at an average price of about $53,000 per robot.
That's remarkable! Past sales have averaged out at a much lower price per robot. I have no idea how they pulled that off or how they will keep those new high-paying franchisees on board while they await their deliveries. If the company can give preferential treatment to those high-paying franchisees, that will be good for the stock price as well, since the company could then book those higher revenues and take in a greater amount of cash.
So, there, my first positive post. It felt so good, I think I may have to do it again.
