I really wanted to get it all down to help clarify it in my own mind. I spent part of the weekend trying to come up with a SCAN on Stockcharts to try to capture things...but I am way off on creating a scan. I have a long way to go. Not sure if you've ever tried. One of the biggest problems - as you have mentioned before - is the ability to track and watch during the day. That's a tough one. So I try to screen and stalk after hours and pick a couple that look ripe for the next day. In the case of GUSH it was a matter of stalking for days and then chasing an imperfect entry that worked. Something about rather being lucky that good. I do like positioning for higher probability short term trades with lower expectations but make the bet big enough so that a couple three per month will be a decent haul.

Also, one interesting thing about Ichimoku and the 5/10 crossover...I picked it up from following an option trader on twitter...option_sniper. This guy is good even though I don't see myself trading options. A lot of wisdom in his words. https://twitter.com/option_snipper
