Yes, Its great to have some in depth knowledge in operations, and start ups in general. Folks need to understand a few things.

1) Every single timeline for anything is longer than one wants
2) Pinks like to make claims 10-20% of actual times
3) Each department in a start up goes through its own upscaling process

These are important things to know. Let's take Morning for instance. Folks simply don't get how insanely good it is to have an R and D dept up and running and will have an ROI in less THAN ONE YEAR.

Heck the majority of pinks are ONLY R and D, and they don't generate ONE CENT for YEARS if EVER. AND, the whole time they are diluting to keep the lights on (or worse, they aren't even doing anything)

So, this initial learning with production (and THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A SIMPLE DESIGN TRANSFER AND PRODUCTION ENGINEERING) is NO different than the audit. Every aspect of a growing company has its own 'audit' level challenge to go through as part of growth.

So, getting through this initial set up will pave the way for better process, larger scale orders, faster design transfer, etc. The relationship establish with the manufacturing will pay off more down the road as well when we acquire more small developers and maybe even form its own internally formed game tank.

The same 'Audit and upscale' things will happen to many areas.

Marketing / Social Media management
Sales / Business Development
Human Resources
IT
Program / Project Management
Heck even Corp level training when the staff is thousands

This is all part of the path to success. THESE ARE THE 'PROBLEMS' you want your company to have.

You have to ask yourself, how many other companies have you seen anywhere near AMFE's level of development. How many companies have you seen get anywhere close to the level of infrastructure AMFE has. Same questions for, market potential, Brand strength, sheer possibilities.

I have, many times, and I end up accumulating more.
