You (SHMP) have 3 problems, Frank. The yield (density) is not spectacular. The shrimp don't grow fast enough. And most importantly, financing. We can't even be sure about the cost structure.

There are systems out there that use covered ponds. Or greenhouses. They call it indoor shrimp farming although I would personally call it covered ponds.

Super-intensive shrimp farming is growing fast in Vietnam. It will grow fast in China and other places. They are not all biofloc systems. The only negative here is, you still need some land. But land is readily available in most places and they can convert the old ponds.
