Wow!

I'm surprised, frankly. And I'm not a hotdog although I'd relish the idea right down to my buns. Hold the mustard, please.

Kidding aside, I believe I had a vision. Not the first over the years but a vision, still. As investors come forth on this board of ours, I'm filling in the cabin walls' chinks---being reminded of ALDW, HDY, AAL and NTI and now NGL. Quite the litany of successes we're getting to experience and enjoy, for sure.

Getting to share it all together is the greatest. When I was a kid I remember my folks sitting on the couch while we watched TV. I didn't always understand Bob Hope's jokes but when I saw my dad laughing, I knew it must have been funny. That made me feel good. And these days I'm reminded of sneaking glances towards the couch. Dad is no longer with us but my understanding of having been his son and learning from him? The lessons persist.

So your bringing up a post now "over the hill" in a sense brings me full face to confront a reality:

Some things become undeniably visible to us but perhaps at different times and for different people. I'll laugh at Bob Hope's jokes now for I'm older and more understanding of things. And today I think I understand a bit more about connecting dots in a company than I might have even just a couple of months ago.

So we learn to go with our gut instincts. We determine whom to trust when we are uncertain. And in my case I try to alert others to my possibly reading things incorrectly. Yet if I'm a buyer, then my responsibility becomes that of sharing the information as it seems to be the right thing to do. After all, watching a funny man on TV might not make me laugh but seeing Dad laugh made everything wonderful. Today, then, it's all about watching everybody thrill to the tune of financial success.

I'm as happy as could be, really!

As for where we go from here?

The winds of change are still gathering. They will amount to a whole lot, I'm sure. Mike and Trey have absolutely got to love seeing things improve for us unitholders. Remember, they pushed the BOD to approve a hike in distribution when it would not have been affordable. That is my definition of regard for company supporters although a bit foolish at the time. But I saw in that act of generosity great character. Still do.

I'm seeing NGL building towards a global presence and it will take money. It may mean there'll be no distribution increases when we hit the 9% yield point but I'm good with that for I know management will be doing what they do best which is to rebuild our company into a world leader. I'm reminded of JFK's remark---

"Ask not what your country can do for you..."
