Educated US consumer has been buying “unlocked” version from Canada via online purchase.

e.g. OnePlus has been supported by all the cult followers in New York event (reminisce of Job era).

All these events happened before T-Mobile deal is struck.

US is the only market in the whole world that is Carrier centric. That is changing.

Even Apple is forced to use e-sim and now dual sim.

Carrier subsidy has been a “successful” scam by Job. Steve Balmer never thought of that and the rest is history.

World is changing. Consumer is getting smarter. They all demand the lowest “net total cost” by choosing independent equipment and service.

This is no different than AT&T hey day charging $100 for a rotary phone and $100 for installation. That was a lot of money in the 60s.

Net net of all those. Mobile device would be purchased online (just like everything else). It will be shipped from anywhere to anywhere in the world.

Now. For all those “zero” and “dream” team folks. How would LQMT get paid?
