AZ, the EC delaying mechanism as a means to discourage retail makes sense prior to the 2p12 release...but doesnt make sense after the release. The markers have been assigned and participants are fixed. why the delay for 7 more years?

Is there a bigger chunk of the estate directly flowing back to Coop and hence they have been working on shaking retail off WMIH/COOP for the last 7 years with the delays? This would make sense except they will likely be violating some SEC disclosure rules if Coop eventually does receive a big windfall from the old estate.

I still dont understand why they would want to continually hold up the employee claims for 7 years after POR7..

Could there be a tax advantage play here? for leaving the assets in safe harbor longer?
