Not likely inasmuch as most trades are really small---mostly 100 units and smaller with a few in the 200-300 range with one 1,000 unit trade showing over the last few minutes and a couple in the 400-500 range.

Big buyers simply don't operate in that fashion.

Also, buying for their client list won't occur until they're ready to issue the upgrade. Brokerages won't dare encourage clients to take positions without fully disclosed information already out there in the press. Remember, they signed NDAs and to do as you're suggesting would reek of insider deals fully punishable by legal beagles at the SEC.
