Had that years ago with a pharmaceutical. Bought a crazy load of shares at a few cents and there was a rumor it would go to 6. I did not believe in it and got out early. 2 years later it was 50-60 $. The only huge mistake I made, but it sure was a massive one :D I can laugh about it when telling friends.
I forgot the ticker. (not sure I want to remember it though :D )

It was one of the first stocks I had bought and I was learning about all the pump and dumps going on. Like most of us I started out trading with too much emotion at both extremes (euphoric and depressed) thinking I might catch a 10 bagger or get caught into a pump and dump scheme. University turned me into an emotionless trader which was great for my trading as well as my health :D

The only emotion I get is from reading stock boards, not so much what is going on with the stock itself :D haha

Anyways I hope to share interesting stuff about XDSL very soon. I'm researching some old names of XDSL, their patents and what they have been up to in the last 2-3 years.
