Ultrasound and Fibroscan can both detect levels of fat in the liver, albeit via different means - saw my internist last Friday and got an order for a new ultrasound to see if V has helped my fatty liver - somebody here had Fibroscan testing done and he said V completely resolved his fatty liver. There's no blood test for it, although high TGs may indicate NAFLD, which is how I was diagnosed in my 30's - couldn't get them lower with statins/fibrates/niacin so my PCP ordered an ultrasound. R-IT won't produce any data on this, they didn't do ultrasounds.
