Jerry, I get your reasoning with a public company like WMIH would have had to disclose expectation of returning safe harbored assets with they are supposed to go directly to the company...but then again, I do not know SEC regulation enough to know if such a requirement exist for safe harbored "bankruptcy remote" assets.

All I know is how ridiculous it is for players like KKR to park hundreds of millions in a shell company like WMIH all those years when the stock market was booming...Maybe they are expecting a big windfall return to WMIH/Coop.

I am also suspicious that if the hedgies wanted to rob retail, it would be a perfect strategy to cut a backdoor deal with KKR and dilute us.
