Template based electronic health records are a joke and made by computer geeks working for billing companies. These records are made for liability and billing purposes only with the thought that physicians would just adapt to the template based documentation.

I now use PRAXIS - non template based electronic medical record and a separate billing and practice management system. PRAXIS allows me to document in the way that I think utizing AI technology in the concept processor.

EHR has paradoxically increased our workload and lessened quality of care due to the difficulties inherent with no medical persons “running the show” in American healthcare.
