You are missing the Pete and repeat clause. Here it is again.

They do not want to open themselves up to further litigation by making a prediction, as they did in 2015, only to find out that patients were living a lot longer than expected, which caused the trial to continue unexpectedly. — Ike quoting Les

Every time we get to the end of a scrub (aka: validation) they pull the rug out. They know right now it is likely there will be less than a handful of events by the end of this scrub. Yet unlike every other company, they are prepared to act “surprised” at their own predictions, and continue “unexpectedly” once again after this go around. They are instead setting themselves up for SEC investigation by continually putting the end of trial just beyond reach and resetting the pins up “unexpectedly” once again. Bait and switch.

For gosh sake Abeta, Larry Smith, with apparently more material info than we had in October 2018, said NWBO might reach data lock in November if things looked mature, and file a BLA in December, (sound familiar?) but nooooooooooo, they were surprised at the lack of eventing and had to go another round.

Pete and repeat. This time the out clause is right there.

This marks the fifth, the FIFTH refresh including the one they conducted in 2015. How many times are they going to beat our heads against the wall before just stating what the true test for completion is?

You don’t get surprised five times,
yet like Pete and repeat, their out clause above demonstrate they are prepared, or plan to feign just that if the eventing is exactly what everyone here expects it to be....slow.

They will not share the current Number alive right now, even though they have before, because this would force them to state what their endpoint really is. Being accused of “Cherry picking” is the lamest excuse I’ve ever heard in my life. First, by not sharing the number, he is making it higher in people’s head than it likely is. That’s inappropriate. Right now he has me thinking, gosh, I thought it was around 78, but Les now makes me think it must be much higher like in the mid to upper 90s because it’s so high he states it would make people infer cherry picking. What a load of bunk. He’s trying to make it higher than it really is. Secondly, who cares if the shorts infer cherry picking. Les just inferred it. In the end, if it is cherry picking, it is, if it isn’t it isn’t. His excuse is instead a form of hyping. There is no real reason to hide it except to help continue another scrub cycle after this one is complete.
