The market is always anticipatory. The offering is new stock ON TOP OF stock already in the market, it is dilutive. The key is for the demand to be sufficient to absorb the NEW stock. Any potential price appreciation can’t be by the offering itself as it is dilutive and that is always a downward force on price by the simple law of supply and demand.

There would have to be some news or info element currently not “in the market” to stimulate that added demand to buy the dilutive stock.

But that news at the moment is ONLY “potential”...if the company had done or achieved anything material that was sufficient to create that new demand if would have to have already disclosed it.

So we are back to debating “potential”...
