dlewisfl, someone mentioned before that the dollars going to spend for overseas war items could shift to domestic military preparedness. Even with a smaller budget, I would think the Democrats would lean more toward training then to war.
We also have a decent international sales record, the bigger that gets, the more pressure to keep up.

Its just a matter of time before we are attacked again on our own soil. Nations like England, France, Spain, etc are attacked all the time. Preparedness is just as important as prevention.
