I think everyone would love to know precisely what occurred. However, I think it's very clear to anyone who's followed NWBO and this trial and all the crazy things that have happened in the past 4 years that PFS and the idea of pseudoprogression from DCVax treatment (not from SOC) may have caused an issue.

I can imagine that the company would have been bankrupted by shorts had any news come out that PFS was somehow in trouble, other than the rumors being spread by many including Adam Feuerstein, especially prior to all the new things we've learned about Immunotherapies and survival tails in the past two years. I can also imagine how crazy it must have made Dr. Liau to see patients continue to survive and trying to figure out if PFS truly could correspond to this, and the ramifications of it all. For Linda and Les to try to spell this out in some way that would satisfy nervous investors without creating a call to arms for shorts to destroy the company obviously led to where we are today.

What appears to some, especially those who try to compare NWBO to other pharma companies, to be nefarious and sneaky dealings appear to others (myself especially) to be a very self preservative and incredibly difficult necessity. In the end, I have no need for now for these kinds of questions to be answered. Whatever mode they're in I feel it's absolutely what they feel is best for the company and for DCVax's future. Anyone who doesn't see the heroic effort it's taken to stay in business, even if you don't believe there was a concerted effort to kill them off, I feel is not in the know of the real world of Big Money and the big business of Wall Street. If they pull this off, which I think is very much in the cards, it will be a story for the ages.
