My considered opinion is that liberal Dems are attempting to prevent mission creep from an adverse Collins verdict that might serve to disable major parts of Dodd-Frank. I can conceive of no other earthly purpose for this ridiculous brief to be injected into Collins.

Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi and Elizabeth Warren are all wedded to D-F and the CFPB whose constitutional structure is also under similar court consideration.
