I didn't know Bogle attended BRK's SHM.

Every investor owes much to him. He played a role in bringing down the outrageous brokerage fees that prevailed when I started investing. Back then most mutual funds carried "standard" 8.5% sales commissions. And 2% annual expenses were common. Now we have a few zero cost mutual funds! (not sure that's so good). Over a human lifetime those saving can easily double, perhaps triple, an investors wealth.

He and Buffett also railed about the costs of churning portfolios and the risks that come with attempting to time the market. Every investor is smarter because of John Bogle. Well, maybe not every IHUBer. LOLOLOL
