I started watching for the Eclipse about 9 & checked a few times until about 10. Saw a full bright moon.

I got engrossed in the Chiefs and Patriots and didn't go back out until 11:05. Not a sign of the moon. I thought there was always a halo of light around the moon in eclipse. Nothing .

I went back out at 11:30. I could see nothing. I had stumbled around in the pitch dark, trying to get away from trees.

Two owls started hooting. Spooky. Then from across the lake, coyotes began to howl. Spookier.

Suddenly Bela Lugosi-----wait a minute. Something is scratching at my windo -------
