The 24 week goal was not a break even or profit point. The 24 weeks was an educated goal estimation - not a set in stone figure. The 24 weeks was for an (profitable) estimate of 50% mortality as nearly twice that number survived with no visible mortality (near 100%). Any extension in growth to maturity estimates are far out weighed by mortality numbers.

Most on this board are DD savvy. It is not difficult to understand the extra several weeks mean nothing as compared to mortality. Unfortunately for some the growth rate vs mortality concept remains difficult to grasp.
