Well, that's how it goes. When I was a small child, my grandfather owned a ranch in Florida. Apparently for investment only; no one from the family ever went to see it.

After he died in 1952, there was a family meeting held around the dinner table to make financial decisions. The ranch came up. I banged my tiny fist and begged my grandmother not to sell it. She paid no attention.

Many years later, my aunt said the property is now part of Disneyland.
