Not everyone likes to watch old movies. Naturally I remember the Flint films, because I was in college, and you see a lotta movies when you're in college. I've also seen some Errol Flynn pix, because decades ago they were on late-night TV fairly often. Nowadays probably only Turner and PBS shows them.

But none of that is my point. My point is the correct phrase was always "In Like Flynn". It isn't certain that's it's about Errol Flynn; it may also refer to an FDR-era politician. I always thought it went back further than that, and made reference to a generic lucky Irishman.

However, now there's a NEW movie, as I pointed out. So by your logic, everyone who's been saying "In Like Flint" should start saying "In Like Flynn".
