Much of those prohibitions, I guess, are to prevent test takers from smuggling out questions.
CPA exam consists of four separate tests, each four hours long. Everything is done on computer (no number 2 pencils, or blue books). Initial pass rate is about 45% for each section. 75% grade is passing.
You aren't allowed to remove clothing during test. That is, you can't take off a sweater if you get hot. No watches; Your computer has a countdown clock. Rules are amazingly thorough. Don't even ask about all the rules that apply to restroom use!
