GM is considering importing their two seat Baojun E100 it manufactures with a joint venture partner in Guangxi.

The lithium battery powered vehicle costs roughly $15k and has a range of 96 miles. In China it sells for $5k after the subsidy the Chinese government offers for electric cars.

I expect the car will be most popular with tiny people. About the same size as a Renault Twizy (below) popular in European beach resorts.
