I won't pretend to know the answer to your question but I'll point out that there are many pitfalls to posting "too close to home" or "where you make your bread and butter"

people asking you for info that borders on insider info - even stuff that's very distant to the legal definition on insider info can cause a lot of hassles if someone gets their panties in a bind, likewise just a hint of an accusation can cause friction at work if your boss gets wind of the accusation

feelings of guilt if your instincts are wrong, maybe you just shed light on the mechanics of some drilling aspect but it's taken as a wholesale endorsement of the company operation when it wasn't intended to be taken that way
