wildcard...my switch has not flipped.. I am still a committed long in coop and hold 195000 escrow common shares....what has flipped is my attitude about closure to the WMILT in the timeframe we all thought was going to happen... now we find out the LIBOR lawsuit is still not ready for court hearing after 8 or so years since it was filed against the banks by the FDIC for fraud.....here is my thinking about the LIBOR case as it stands, its just my thought, but.... generally when defendants in this case do not settle quickly, they mean to go to court trial because they think that they can beat the case... so not settling the case in all these years is suspect... another thing... should the banks reach a settlement with the FDIC for the LIBOR case out of court, they will pay a hefty fine, without admitting guilt, which means no civil cases could be brought against them... the FDIC will pocket the fine, and apply it to expenses incurred to mop up the financial crisis expenditures, hence, shareholders would receive nothing for waiting all these years.... so in conclusion, I am setting my hopes with coop, and agnostic about any returns for the foreseeable future.... this helps me mentally to get on with my life.. I have spent the better part of 12% of it waiting for a payout on my escrows....Lodas
