The Prime Danger of Shorting CVSI.....
As a veteran institutional trader, I CANNOT, without giving you formal or informal "advice / recommends" / it's just me thinking out f*cking loud, caution anyone who is SHORT OR LONG-TERM SHORT the hot-est FED-erally sanctioned newbie sector (HEMP and HEMP-derived products) to seriously consider NOT holding a short without closing the trade before EOD (end of trading day / close of market).
Why? An experienced trader will know this...But if you're a newbie short seller, IF / SHOULD some White Swan event transpire end of day (likely) or pre-market open, a Stock's Price could potentially open the next day with Price GAP so wide it could either cripple or completely blow out your account with no chance of recovery. With that said....
Most GAPS will eventually (not always) back fill meaning you may have a chance to close your trade at a small loss or B/Even. But, you gotta ax yerselfie...U really wanna take dat risk?
White (Black) Swan Events are paradigm price-changing events. Over the decades, I've seen them happen in Stocks, Futures and Forex.
Frankly, I marvel at the "chocolate ashtray" shorts mentality exhibited on this forum. It's like an Aikido Master telling an un-trained student (and this is an actual practice) to take a full blow kick to his precious gonadal netherlands and "not feel pain"!!. We call this kind of account reversal / blowout pain, "puking" (so apt).
In closing, I (V) am (A) sure (N) that (D) someone (Y) will most f*cking definitely attempt to inval-i-f*cking-date the above, I look soooo forward to the "can't-happen-soon-enough permanent disappearing act of those shorts (think gen-i-watta-talia), soon to be extinct perma-bears. Their tick (that's a bug)-sized brains have yet the capacity to embrace the Full Neuro-Firing Consciousness of CBD Reality.
