Thanks Doc. I agree with you on much that you wrote.

I don’t expect our political process is amenable to much innovation in the context that you discuss, and not for partisan reasons so much as complexity and a system that denigrates expertise and knowledgeable participants. I also think that there will always be a bias toward wanting to pay less for more. Hard to undercut that when everyone feels that pressure in their own day-to-day. Big wallets, of course, open doors in such a system, which is unfortunate but really the nature of this world in the US.

I don’t see immense innovation elsewhere, though much talk and show. Japan maybe... they are very focused on cellular treatments. DCVax might qualify and I think it’s well worth exploring. I’ve said that for years here. Not as big on China, or Chinese oligarchic partners.
