Dapper, I mostly agree. There is plenty of evidence showing significant work on a genuine product with serious scientific backing. I seriously love the HS story and bought into it in a big way.

But being on a stock board shouldn't mean checking my intelligence at the door. This is not a board game; it's real money. I don't want to be paranoid nor do I want to be naive. I learned my lesson in 1998-99, with one specific tech stock that caught fire because of the great, and real, story. You know the ending.

And you've heard the one about the poker player looking around the table trying to identify the sucker? If you can't find him, it's you.

I don't want to be the sucker, and I'm willing to take some risk and buy some stocks, including pennys. But I don't want to be the sucker.

So, yes, I love the HS product and story. That part of the story makes perfect sense. In fact, since I joined this message board, I've done nothing but cheer the story. And while I am a professional, I'm not a professional stock trader. I assume none of us are.

So, what to do? My profession tells me asking real questions is a good thing. In fact, it's the only way to finding out real answers. Questions is not my doubting the part of the story that makes sense. It's making sense of the part that doesn't make sense.

My question is: how is it possible that this amazing story is not so amazing to the pros? Either I'm wrong or they're wrong and, truth is, I'd bet on the pros.

I've already bought into the stock and I don't want to sell it. I just want to know what is real.

If people want to cheerlead or badmouth, fine. But I want to ask questions and find answers.

I think Gopherdat posted the obvious, and right, answers: LEX is a one product company with no track record and is still waiting on final research and FDA approval. That makes sense and I obviously hope all is spectacular. If so, we are here ahead of the pack and that would be wonderful. I even remember an earlier post where I quoted an article which said this exact thing: being there first is a great place to be.

But the question remains: if we can see it, why can't the pros? I'm not panicking. I simply opened the prospectus, began reading it again and this time couldn't make sense of it. Then I posted my thoughts.

I'm not trying to start a fight, or be paranoid, nor am I shorting the stock. I've never shorted a stock before and, honestly, don't know how.

Seems to me a stock board is supposed to make honest sense of the stock story. In the late 90s, I was on a couple of Motley Fool message boards and such a thing happened a few times. So, anybody game to help take LEX apart and find the truth?

If you've read the prospectus, then please, take apart my argument. The HS story makes perfect sense, but the company structure doesn't seem clear at all. WTF is it actually saying? What is clear and what is unclear?
