I been doing a lot of digging and it sounds like aurora is using what’s called a poison pill to fight off a hostile takeover and it’s not a buyback. Basically this gives them the ability generate a ton of extra shares that the takeover entity would have to pay for in addition to what’s already outstanding. Making the deal unattractive. ACB hasn’t filed the correct forms for a stock buyback. The buyback scenario is just wishful thinking
